NIXON ART EXHIBITS
February 2012 "Tom Nixon and Friends" (mainly students-past and present) at the WOODWAY on College Rd. as a Fundraiser for the Food Bank, bring a couple cans and see what we've done. First Friday Opening Reception Feb. 3rd, 5-7.
Paintings will hang through the month of February.
SCHEDULE
March 2012 Fairbanks Watercolor Society Annual Show . Our 13th year!. This is the opportunity for all members to exhibit up to three paintings. Last year there were 92 paintings. Again we will be at the WELL STREET ART CO., on Well St. in the RR Industrial Area. Opening Reception is First Friday, March 2nd, from 5-8pm. All the paintings will hang through March. Come see what everyone is doing!
April 2012 Tom Nixon - Solo. Titled Potpourri. At the PHILLIPS Gallery & Studio over on Well St. In the Well and Good building near Well St. Gallery. Opening reception will be April 6th on First Friday.
May 2012 Tom and Nelda and the Thursday Class of Ann Tremarello, Myke King, Kathe O'Malley and Judy Gottschalk will be at the S Salon Style & Studio, 9th & Cushman.
Opening reception will be May 4th from 5-7 and the paintings will hang through the month.
July 16th - 27th, 2012 Tom will be teaching Drawing at the Fairbanks Summer Arts Festival. The catalog should be out the first part of March.

June 2012 On the 2nd, Tom will be teaching "Introduction to Watercolor" at the Machetanz Art Festival in Wasilla, AK. This is a one day class, the catalog should be out soon. You can google it to get more information. We'll take Harvey down.
December 2012 will once again find us (Tom and Nelda) at the Fairbanks Community Museumat 5th & Cushman in the old City Hall. We are very pleased to have our 3rd Dec. First Friday there. This year our theme will be "Life on the Chena, Then and Now". It's a wonderful small gallery with wonderful lighting. First Friday is Dec, 7th, 5-8pm, and they have great food!
